It all began in 2014 when one of the world's largest audit firms asked Robert Andersson, then a business developer at a training company, for a solution that could train all of their managers.
He presented a digital concept with video lectures, self-study materials, knowledge tests and personal logins and reminders. Naturally with customized branding and automatically generated certificates.
But when Robert looked for such a solution, he only found expensive and complicated options.
This was the starting point for Evercate.
Since then, the platform has evolved with a focus on customer needs. Today our position is clear. We are Sweden's best learning platform for retail companies, and we deliver increased profitability along with happier employees.

For us, training and information flows are not ends in themselves. Getting knowledge and information out across the organization is obviously important. But reaching people isn't the goal — it's the springboard to achieving the goal in the form of a result.

The single most important part of that is making it super easy for participants to access and absorb what they need to do. Because if it's not easy to engage with, it doesn't matter how clear your content is.

Sustainability on multiple levels
For us, sustainability is an important issue.
By moving training online, travel and other resources can often be saved. But our sustainability thinking doesn't stop there.
Running IT systems requires electricity, and that electricity needs to be produced. We have carefully selected our cloud and server providers and can proudly say that we almost exclusively use renewable energy — primarily wind and solar power — for our operations.
For the small portion we can't yet guarantee, we offset carbon emissions together with our providers. But our goal is to run on 100% guaranteed renewable energy.
